At that time there was no public transportation. So, Guru Maharaja used to walk everywhere. He walked for a very long time and soon it was really late at night. He was passing by a jungle and the time was almost ten at night. Suddenly, he saw some bright lights. It was as though some wedding festival was going on. Srila Bhakti Promode Puri Maharaja Below is a short excerpt of Sripad Bibuddha Bodhyan Maharaja's class about his Srila Gurudeva - Srila Bhakti Promode Puri Maharaj when he was in Malaysia. “In 1983, Srila Bhakti Promode Puri Maharaja used to stay in Sri Caitanya Gaudiya Math. He used to give initiation to a few people at that time. He was 82 years old. One lady disciple who was initiated for 6 months found out she had terminal cancer. She had only 3 weeks to live. So she came to Srila Gurudeva to take his darshan and his foot bath water and to die eventually. Lately a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and sannyas disciple of Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja visited Malaysia. His name is Sripad Bhaktivedanta Avadhuta Maharaja (see picture below). He gave a very sweet class on how Sri Guru is perfect in every way. Below is the excerpt of the class: "Once Srila Bhaktivedanta Swami Maharaja's (Srila Prabhupada) ordered his disciple to post a letter. The disciple took the envelope and noticed it was not sealed. He went back to Srila Prabhupada and pointed out the unsealed envelope. Srila Prabhupada simply said, "Post it." The perplexed disciple did not know what to do.
